Song Joong Ki told his first impression on the drama title 'Innocent Man'('Nice Guy').
On September 5th, press conference of KBS drama 'Innocent Man' took place at Inter Continental Hotel in Seoul.
The main actors Song Joong Ki, Moon Chae Won, Park Si Yeon, Kim Tae Hoon, Lee Gwang Soo, Lee Sang Yeop, Lee Yu Bi, director Kim Jin Won, and script writer Lee Kyung Hee attended to introduce the new drama and characters.
'Nice Guy' is a drama about a man using a different woman to make a revenge to his lover who betrayed him.
When he was asked a question about some negative views of people for intentionally using misspells in the title(Korean title), director Kim Jin Won said, "A number of co-workers suggested changing the title, and we went through a long thought about using wrong spelling in a TV drama."
He continued, "But, the title fits the drama pretty well. It implies a message that encourages living morally, and some people are having negative views just because of an intentional mis-spell. Kang Maru(Song Joong Ki) is a nice guy, but at the same time, he's not. He uses other girl's love for his revenge. However, to make such a guy nice, we decided to use such contradicting adjective and misspell for some dramatic effect."
Song Joong Ki said, "When I first heard the title, I was so over-joyed. I heard a lot of people are having negative views about the title."
He continued, "You will see how great writer Lee Kyung Hee is, and I'm very confident about the drama. I'm not worried about negative effects that the title will bring to the drama."
On the other hand, 'Innocent Man' will premiere on 12th at 9:55 as the sequel of 'Gaksital'.
