Kim Hyun Joong sold 200,000 copies of his second Japanese single, 'HEAT'.
Recently, Japan's Oricon Chart reported that the sales volume of Kim Hyun Joong's latest Japanese single, 'HEAT', reached 200,580.
'HEAT' was released on July 4th, and on the day of its release, 138,000 copies were sold, topping in the Oricon Daily Chart. Afterwards, it topped in the weekly chart, and got ranked 3rd in the monthly chart as well.
As over 200,000 copies were sold in two months, Kim Hyun Joong became the first Korean artist to sell over 200,000 copies this year.
A local official said, "Kim Hyun Joong is making impressive achievements in very competitive Japanese music market. I think his various promotions largely contributed in such result."
On the other hand, Kim Hyun Joong recently started shooting drama 'City Conquest'.
