Big Bang member and soloist G-Dragon is set to appear in an episode of the hit variety show “Infinite Challenge.”
A representative of the MBC program announced yesterday the singer will record the show next week, and it will air late this month.
The 24-year-old chose the comedy show for his first TV appearance after his solo comeback because he is a huge fan.
Last year in the summer vacation special episode, G-Dragon made up a song titled “I Cheated” with comedian and regular member Park Myung-soo. It went on to become one of the most downloaded songs of 2011.
Meanwhile, the boy band member’s solo album, titled “One of a Kind,” will be released Sept. 15.
The title track of the album is “Crayon,” which is a combination of “Crazy” and “Ji-young” (the singer’s real name).
The tune was co-written by YG Entertainment’s in-house producer Teddy.
