Ji Hyun Woo leaves for his military service

Actor Ji Hyun Woo has made his official enlistment with the Korean military on the afternoon of August 7th.

Appearing with his newly shaved head, the actor entered the military training camp located in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, where he will receive five weeks of basic military training before he begins his active service for the next two years.

The actor expressed, “Despite the hot weather, thank you all for coming here today. I’ll work hard during my time in the military and safely return. I apologize for causing much ruckus when there are many others who are enlisting at the same time.”

Ji Hyun Woo also answered a few questions, such as whether he’s worried about enlisting at a late age. To this, he shook his head and replied, “There are others around my age that have enlisted, so I’m not worried.”

When asked about girlfriend, Yoo In Na, Ji Hyun Woo avoided to give any concrete answer. Yoo In Na did not accompany her boyfriend during his enlistment. Her agency, YG Entertainment, previously stated that she wished to respect Ji Hyun Woo’s time with his fans, thus leading to this decision.

Ji Hyun Woo had postponed his initial enlistment last July due to the back injury sustained from a drama filming. His last drama was tvN‘s ‘Queen Inhyun’s Man‘.
