On the July 12th broadcast of KBS 2TV ‘Star Life Theatre’ featuring T-ARA, member, Eunjung thanked her mother for her continuous support. Eunjung expressed that her mom had gave up on her own lifestyle for her and it’s something that she won’t be able to repay her this lifetime. Eunjung also revealed that she didn’t quite understand the purpose of adding new T-ARA members continuously.
Eunjung’s mom graduated with a piano major and had been a teacher, while claiming awards several times as well, and was a high profile person. But once Eunjung entered the entertainment business, her mom left the job which she loved dearly, and supported Eunjung silently behind the scenes.
Eunjung expressed that her mom was a very strict person and she had been educated strictly under her mom’s supervision since she was young.
She said, “Whenever I start to play with my friends instead of reading the script, my mom would chastise me, ‘If you do that, you might as well don’t do it anymore!’, ‘If you do not want to be the best, don’t do it then!’ As a result, Eunjung would always remind herself of her mother’s words at all times and always give her best in everything she does, resulting in her being a popular singer now.
Eunjung is thus really grateful to her mom from the bottom of her heart for educating her so well, “I am very thankful to be able to be born as my mom’s daughter”, leaving her mom touched.
As for the continuous addition of members to T-ARA , Eunjung couldn’t understand it at first and thought, “Is it because we were insufficient? Won’t more training be sufficient then?”
Eunjung was pretty scared when a new member was added for the first time, “I was worried that it might affect the flow and make the mood awkward. But after interacting with the new member, I changed my perspective and felt it would be of help.”
T-ARA had recently added an 8th member Areum which Eunjung welcomed.
It’s inevitable that there might be problems at first with a new member integrating into an existing group. But Eunjung once said, “It isn’t an easy thing being a member of T-ARA”. But it is also a good thing to be able to learn how to communicate, tolerance and learn from each other in the process!
