Lee Chung Ah Was Cast in Dramas Because She′s Lee Soo Man′s Daughter?

While she’s had the luck of acting with handsome flower boy actors, Lee Chung Ah revealed that it’s only brought her bad results.

On July 24, Lee Chung Ah appeared on SBS’ Strong Heart, where she talked an incident that happened when working with Kang Dong Won for the movie, Romance of Their Own in 2004.




With Kang Dong Won’s popularity soaring high, Lee Chung Ah said, “After the movie, I heard a female student say, ‘She’s uglier than Kang Dong Won. How can she be acting?’ I thought I was cast because I had a simple face for the simple character, but because she said that I was uglier than Kang Dong Won, I was a bit hurt.”

Lee Chung Ah continued to say that because of ‘her ugliness,’ people began to make up stories that she got the role with Kang Dong Won because she was ′the daughter of Lee Soo Man′ (not true). Also, when she was filming a SBS drama, people then spread rumors that she was the daughter of the SBS CEO (also not true).

Lee Chung Ah then went on to share the bad luck that followed while working with Jung Woo Sung and Jung Il Woo.
