It is reported that “Gentleman’s Dignity’s” Jang Dong Gun, and “Secret Garden’s” Hyun Bin are sharing some close brotherhood friendship; their bond is developed throughout the time being under the same agency.
The fate for the two men began in the movie of "Friends", where Jang drew eight million viewing in 2001 for the role of Dong Soo, a man from Busan. Later in the year of 2009, Hyun Bin took the role as Dong Soo at the “Friends, out legend”, a TV version of “Friends” for MBC’s drama.
In addition, Hyun Bin mentioned Jang Dong Gun during the drama, “Secret Garden” as one of his lines; he said to Ha Ji Won, “After you get to know me, you will be able to feel that I am just as charming as Jang Dong Gun." On the other hand, Jand Dong Gun also brought up Hyun Bin’s name during his shooting for “Gentleman’s Dignity”, Jang Dong Gun made a witty comment after seeing Kim Ha Ra having a pleasant time hanging out with CNBlue’s Jung Yong Hwa and said, “Who doesn’t have an idol, I wonder how is Hyun Bin doing? Is my dear Hyun Bin being good in the army?” His cute comment made viewers to bust out into laughter.
Aside from that, there was a scene where it talked about Jang Dong Gun thought about Hyun Bin from a scene in “Secret Garden”, in another word, they are being filmed ‘together’ in the same drama if the parallel theory applied.
An insider from the set of SBS TV stated: Jang Dong Gun and Hyun Bin’s friendship can be reflected in many works, it would be a great idea if they can really join together for a movie or drama, and I believe that many viewers are able to endless joy.
