FT Island’s Lee Hong Gi to Make His Big Screen Debut

Investment company KJ-net announced the news on July 30 that Lee Hong Gi had been cast in the upcoming movie Our Heaven (tentative title).

Our Heaven tells the story of a problematic top star who causes a public furor with his actions and is reluctantly forced to volunteer at a hospice.

There, through the patients he meets, he comes to find treatment for his own pent-up wounds inside and comes to re-learn the value of life and music.

Lee Hong Gi, who has acted before in television dramas, will make his big screen debut playing the top star Choong Yi.




On his movie debut, Lee Hong Gi shared, “I wanted to be careful in selecting my first screen production. After reading the script for Our Heaven, I was so moved I decided to appear in the movie.”

The movie will begin production in September with a release set for sometime in the first half of 2013 in both Korea and Japan.
