Fans Celebrate SNSD’s 5th Anniversary with Newspaper Advertisements

After making its debut in 2007, Girls’ Generation (SNSD) will be celebrating its fifth year anniversary, but not before fans send their congratulations.

To commemorate SNSD’s fifth year anniversary on August 5, SNSD fans published celebratory messages into newspapers.



One message read, “Thank you! Thank you for being our star! We’re very happy to be SNSD fans.”

Included were pictures of the members, as well as a birthday shout out to Tiffany, who will be celebrating her birthday on August 1. An encouragement message for the Korean athletes for the Olympics was also included.

One uncle fan who created the advertisement said, “Because the SNSD members continued to strive to do their best since their trainee days until now, they were able to become the best, and fans are very proud of that. I’ll continue to cheer SNSD on.”
