SBS TV released teaser for the talent reality show, “K-POP STAR 2”. The teaser unveiled the judges, Yang Hyun Suk, J.Y. Park and BoA to be reunited for the new season of “K-POP Star”.
In the teaser, the judges opened about the Korean big three entertainment companies, SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment and JYP Entertainment’s basic requirements and assessment criteria for the applicants. Yang Hyun Suk, J.Y. Park and BoA also gave contestants unlimited courage and encouragement. The friendly advices have given the applicants positive effect and had earned them some confidence.
The production team of “K-POP Star 2”stated that this show has been proven its true value and its authenticity. Thus, the second season is becoming a hot topic and is gaining much anticipation of the public. They started to accept applications since June of 2011 and it is recording a big jump in numbers of applicants comparing to the first season.
The “K-POP the STAR 2" will have overseas auditions starting from the 17th of August to the 19th in five largest cities in the world including Los Angeles, London, Australia, and Vancouver, etc. Their goal is to discover the best of the best through this ultra large scale world audition.
