B2ST Shows Confidence in ′Midnight Sun′

B2ST is back with a new album a year and two months since its last release, and the members showed they were ready to take on the K-Pop scene with confidence in their new album Midnight Sun.

The group held a press roundtable at a club in Seoul on July 20 to talk about the album and its comeback.

The members seemed especially confident, saying, "The six of us got our heads together and made the best album to make up for our long absence."



Lee Gi Kwang said, "Yong Jun Hyung participated in writing two of our album′s new tracks, Not Me and The Day You Rest. The members all tried to put in their opinions while talking with composers such as Shinsadong Tiger. We also thought a lot about our music video′s concept to give off a new, free image of B2ST on location in America. We all cared for the details of the album and the costumes."

Yong Jun Hyung added, "I believe we learned how to have fun onstage while performing during our world tour. We learned that we need to be having fun for the people listening to have fun. I think all of that made it into our album."

"It′s been a year and two months," Jang Hyun Seung said. "In a system where new songs keep coming, we felt anxious about our hiatus, but we felt that if we come out with great music, everything will be fine. I believe our fans who have been listening to other singers′ songs will come back, too. (Laugh) It′s a delay that we needed for good music."

B2ST will be releasing the rest of its fifth mini album, including its promotional single Beautiful Night, on July 22.
