Alex Charged with DUI

Clazziquai’s Alex was booked without detention for driving under the influence. At 2 a.m. on July 18, Alex was caught at a road inspection while driving his own car in Gangnam.

An official from the Seoul Gangnam Police Agency said, “Alex was fully intoxicated at the time of the inspection with 0.134 percent Blood Alcohol Content, which is enough to have his license cancelled. He was alone, and there were no passengers with him.”

Alex was sent home after a brief investigation, but the news has caused considerable backlash among netizens.



With the new addition to the list of celebrities who had been caught driving DUI, they said in disappointment, ‘Is it absolutely necessary for celebrities to DUI?’

An image one netizen put together, titled ‘DUI celebrities’, even gathered pictures of the celebrities that had been involved in related issues.

It categorizes stars based on whether they were simply driving under the influence or had been involved in car crashes or hit-and-run incidents. It also lists how many times they were caught, whether they tried to avoid the inspection or whether they used violence against police.



The list includes Click-B’s Kim Sang Hyuk, Lee Jung Jae, Kim Ji Su, Yoo Oh Sung, Noh Hyun Jung, Eun Ji Won, Lee Mi Yeon, Shim Eun Ha and Kwon Sang Woo.
