After Typhoon in Japan, After School safely returns to Korea

It has been announced that the After School members, whose stay in Japan had to be prolonged due to a typhoon, are now safe and back in Korea.

Just yesterday, we reported that because of a level 4 typhoon that had struck Osaka, Japan, After School was unable to make their scheduled return home. Although the girl group has been encountering a lot of success, with their Tokyo Dome City Hall encore concerts coming to an end along with their comeback teasers and music video gaining much interest, the strong winds and heavy rain had put their activities to a brief halt.

A representative of Pledis Entertainment explained, “Although [the After School members] were scheduled to return to Korea on the 19th, the weather conditions took a turn for the worst, and it remained that way the whole day. Of course, on the morning of the 20th, after the weather conditions improved, we returned.

Despite the upsetting circumstances, After School’s Lizzy communicated her excitement concerning her group’s comeback via her Twitter. On the day of the typhoon, she tweeted the release of After School’s music video, attaching the following picture below and writing, “There’s one hour left! [One hour left] before Flashback comes out! …. Wow~.” It’s a relief that the girls are safe and also not discouraged. Now that they’re back in Korea, the After School members can fully focus on their comeback preparations.

Fans who have been worried about After School’s condition have commented, “That’s a relief,” “It’s really a relief that the poor weather conditions lasted for a short time,” “Everyone is [okay and] healthy, right? I would like it if, in the future, a situation like this never occurred again,” and “I am eagerly awaiting After School’s Flashback comeback.

In other news, the After School members have already released the music video for their newest single, ‘Flashback’, and have also achieved an all-kill with it.
