Kim Jong Kook suffered a hilarious breakdown as he was betrayed by Haha on SBS‘s ‘Running Man‘.
On the February 26th episode, the members divided into three teams in order to look for a bundle filled with presents. Blue team was made up of Kim Jong Kook, Lee Kwang Soo, and Ji Seok Jin, Red team consisted of guests Lee Da Hae, Oh Ji Ho, and Haha, while Purple team was made up of Song Ji Hyo, Yoo Jae Suk, and Gary.
As Kim Jong Kook found himself involved in a tense standoff with the purple team over the whereabouts of the bundle, Haha appeared out of nowhere and ripped off Kim Jong Kook’s name tag. Kim Jong Kook was so shocked that he was frozen to the spot and could not even chase after Haha as he ran away.
Kim Jong Kook and Haha has been gaining much love on Running Man for their “older brother/little brother” characters, and thus “older brother” Kim Jong Kook’s betrayal at the hands of “little brother” Haha seems to have shocked him beyond words.
Viewers of the episode made comments such as, “I was so surprised. I had no idea that Haha would actually rip off the name tag” and, “It looks like Kim Jong Kook is suffering from a complete mental breakdown!”
