Big Bang‘s Daesung opened up regarding his car accident that took place last year.
Daesung and fellow member G-Dragon guest-featured on the February 20th episode of SBS ‘Healing Camp‘ to talk about their scandals that had a significant impact on their careers.
When asked how he felt when he heard the news of the driver’s death, Daesung answered, “I couldn’t think at all, because I never thought that something like this would ever happen to me. I was just so deeply sorry for everything.”
“The company asked if I was going to go home, but I didn’t have the courage to face my parents, so I stayed in my dorm room,” he continued. “I didn’t even feel hungry. I couldn’t focus. I was just so sorry about what happened, I just cried all the time.”
He admitted, “In my room, I read all the comments that people wrote online.” When asked which comments hurt him the most, he said, “I think ‘murderer’ was the word that really hurt me the most. That’s when I learned how heartless and cruel that word really was. I even had thoughts about suicide,” he confessed, breaking the hearts of everyone on the set.
In related news, Daesung and G-Dragon who have both been away from the music scene due to their unfortunate circumstances will be making a long-awaited comeback with the rest of the Big Bang members with a new album on February 29th.
