As soon as Big Bang released all the tracks to their fifth mini-album ‘ALIVE‘, the songs immediately soared to the top of the online music charts on MelOn, Bugs, Mnet, Olleh Music, Soribada, and more.
Their tracks “BAD BOY“, “LOVE DUST“, “BLUE“, “FANTASTIC BABY“, “AIN’T NO FUN“, “WINGS“, and even the intro “ALIVE” seized high ranks on the charts, once again proving Big Bang’s soaring popularity.
“Blue” was first released a week earlier on February 22nd and has been maintaining a #1 rank on the charts ever since.
The reason for Big Bang’s music receiving continued love and support is due to the boys being able to effectively pull off a variety of different genres, including everything from hip hop to electronic.
Their album was titled ‘ALIVE’ to reflect their passionate drive and defiant attitude towards music, and various YG Entertainment producers have participated in creating this album, in addition to G-Dragon and Teddy.
The boys also released the MV to “Bad Boy”, which is also receiving high praise from the public. “Bad Boy” is a hip hop track with an appealing beat and rhythmical hook, and the MV was filmed in Brooklyn, NY for a more vintage feel.
The MV was also filmed with MK-V AR STEADICAM and ARRI ALEXA camera system that spins 360 degrees for optimal alluring effect.
Big Bang will be embarking on their 2012 world tour with agency Live Nation who has worked with world-famous musicians such as Lady GaGa and Madonna.
Their Seoul performances will take place from March 2nd through the 4th at the Gymnastic Stadium of Olympic Hall.
Additionally, ‘ALIVE’ has officially entered the top 10 on the best selling albums chart on iTunes:
