JYJ’s Yoochun becomes Nintendo’s endorsement model for ‘Zelda’ game




JYJ‘s Park Yoochun was chosen to be Nintendo Korea‘s endorsement model for their latest ‘Wii‘ video game, ‘The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword‘!

‘The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword’ is the newest addition to the successful ‘Legend of Zelda’ series, which has sold over 62,400,000 copies worldwide over the past 25 years.

His commercial was shot in four days, and directors encouraged Yoochun to simply sit back and enjoy the game for himself while they recorded. Yoochun enjoyed the game so much that he almost forgot he was filming. Apparently, Yoochun proved to be a ‘Zelda’ fanatic and surprised the staff by finding hidden routes and changing weapons quickly.

Yoochun stated, “I’ve been a fan of the the ‘Zelda’ series since I was young, and I even took the time to pre-order them when they went on sale overseas.”

He continued, “When I received the endorsement offer, I was really happy with the fact that I would be able to play the newest version available.

In related news, JYJ are currently in Berlin, Germany, preparing for their second European concert on the 6th.
