ZE:A’s Jun Young to MC Upcoming Asia Song Festival

ZE:A’s Jun Young will serve as MC for the upcoming 9th Asia Song Festival .

Star Empire made the announcement on August 1 and revealing the ZE:A member would serve as MC opposite actress Park Soo Jin.

Fans of ZE:A and Jun Young are excited, as Jun Young has been unable to take part in ZE:A’s second album promotions due to his ankle injury from May.

Jun Young expressed his anticipation for his upcoming MC stint saying, “I was experiencing a lot of heartache since I wasn’t able to perform for the new album because of my ankle injury. But thinking of standing before the public and fans through the large-scale Asia Song Festival makes me anxious.”




The ZE:A member also provided an update on his recovery saying, “Though I’m not quite to the point where I can stand on a music show program yet, through my continued treatment I think I will be able to show a better side of myself soon.”

The Asia Song Festival will feature 14 different artists from 6 different countries performing at the Yeosu Expo on August 4 and will be represented by Kim Hyun Joong, MBLAQ, Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae, SISTAR, ZE:A, Ailee, Teen Top, B1A4 and the Brave Guys from Korea.

Singer Weichen from China will also attend as will Yoga Lin from Taiwan Aqua Timez from Japan, Fann Wong from Singapore and Candy Mafia from Thailand.
