YG Entertainment slaps on 19+ age restriction label for G-Dragon’s ‘That XX’ song

YG Entertainment has announced through its YG-Life blog on August 29th that G-Dragon’s upcoming single ‘That XX’ which will be released on September 1st will have a 19+ age restriction.

With the new 19+ age restriction label which restricts minors from hearing or buying the single, the curiosity of many fans have been piqued even further.

In addition, YG Entertainment has also submitted an application to the Korea Media Review Board (KMRB), seeking for the 19+ age restriction label to be applied to the music video and the audio track of ‘That XX’ across all music streaming sites in Korea.

Usually, the 19+ age restriction label is placed on a song or music video only after it is released and reviewed extensively by the KMRB. But in cases like this when G-Dragon applies for the restriction beforehand is pretty rare and almost unheard of.

Thus, many fans are really curious now as to what content does ‘That XX’ contain to warrant having the 19+ age restriction label.

‘That XX’ and the previously released song ‘One of a Kind’ will be included in G-Dragon’s upcoming solo album which marks his comeback after a 3 year hiatus.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon’s ‘One of a Kind’ music video has been viewed 6.9 million times on Youtube since it was revealed on August 24th, showing its impact among fans.
