It was revealed today that singer and actor Seo In Guk has accepted the offer to appear in upcoming MBC weekend drama ‘Sons’.
Seo In Guk’s agency, Jellyfish Entertainment expressed on August 13th that Seo In Guk will appear in MBC weekend drama ‘Sons’ which will premiere on September 9th. Seo In Guk will play the youngest brother of 3 in a household called Yoo Seung Gi.
Having debuted in the entertainment industry as a singer and the winner of the inaugural ‘Superstar K’, Seo In Guk has been finding success as an actor recently. He won praise for his role as a student back in the 70s in the KBS 2TV drama, ‘Love Rain’ earlier this year. Seo In Guk is also getting rave reviews in his first lead role as Yoon Jae in tvN drama ‘Reply 1997’ which is still airing now.
Through the above-mentioned dramas, Seo In Guk has adjusted swiftly to life as an actor and his good acting skills, accurate delivery of lines and his ability to emote has cemented his potential as an up an coming actor. Besides getting offers to appear in dramas, Seo In Guk has also been receiving lots of movie offers as well.
With such a good start already for a rookie, Seo In Guk will now take on the family drama ‘Sons’ and hoping that it would help him develop his acting potential even further.
A Jellyfish Entertainment representative expressed, “’Sons’ is a very good production and with Seo In Guk’s desire to learn from his seniors, we have decided to let him take on this drama. We hope that everyone can look forward to seeing Seo In Guk progress as a singer as well as an actor.
Seo In Guk is currently filming for ‘Reply 1997’ and also preparing for his new album.
