KARA selected as the ambassadors for ‘K-Food’





KARA, who has recently made their long awaited comeback with “Pandora“, has been selected as the ambassadors for K-Food.


On August 29th, DSP Media revealed, “The Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and the aT Korea Agro-Fisheries Trade Corporation have selected KARA to be the ambassadors to bring awareness to K-Food (Korean food).”


KARA will be starting their advertisement campaign in September which will be distributed in China, Japan, and Southeast Asia to help increase the awareness of K-Food.


DSP Media also shared, “With the spread of Hallyu, we hope that the value of the K-Food brands will be upgraded through KARA and that K-Food will increase in popularity and have a positive influence. KARA’s bright and healthy image was especially a big plus when being chosen as ambassadors.”


Starting on September 3rd, KARA will host a special restaurant event on Naver Music where they will feature the K-Food meals they will prepare themselves.


KARA stated, “We’re so happy to take part in a meaningful work, and we will do our best to spread the awareness of K-Food across the world.”
