GLAM celebrates National Liberation Day

With national pride at an all time high following the conclusion of the ‘2012 London Olympics‘, South Korea is celebrating National Liberation Day on August 15th KST.

Girl group GLAM showed their support and love for their country by sharing pictures of the group celebrating the holiday. On their official me2day, the girls wrote, “Salute the flag!! Everyone, today, August 15th, is National Liberation Day. Let’s all become proud citizens and hang up the Taegukgi (flag of South Korea)! Korea, fighting!”

Standing in a straight line, the girls took a serious photo honoring the flag before moving on to a more playful photo, creating a heart with their arms.

Fans commented, “Country love, GLAM love,” “Korea fighting, GLAM fighting,” and “I second that statement!”
