Super Junior Transforms Into Prison Inmates on ‘SNL Korea’

The boys of Super Junior are creating quite the buzz among SNL Korea fans, as it has been revealed that they will do a parody of SBS’ hit program Match.

Pictures of Shindong, Ryeowook, and Kyuhun wearing the show’s signature uniform have been posted on SNL’s official me2day page.

This parody will center on prison inmates who are looking for their significant others in a hilarious skit, and just by looking at the photos, many viewers are wondering how Super Junior will be depicted on the show.

The pictures reveal Shindong in prison uniform (which actually looks quite good on him) and Ryeowook with long wavy hair, while Kyuhyun has transformed into a beautiful woman.

The staff of SNL Korea stated that everyone got a good laugh thanks to Super Junior, and they also revealed that the members actively pitched various ideas to the staff to make the parody even funnier.

SNLK is the Korean version of America’s popular comedy show Saturday Night Live.

The popular show first started airing in 1975 on NBC, and has continued to entertain its viewers on Saturday nights for 37 years. Top stars such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Matt Damon and George Clooney have appeared on the show’s sketches to come closer to the public and provide them with a new type of entertainment.

This special episode will air July 14 at 11pm.
