SISTAR Hasn’t Had a Break in Two Years

Although appearing bright and cheery on televsion, SISTAR revealed that its members are in much need of a vacation.

On July 12, KBS Happy Together 3 invited Dasom and Bora of SISTAR on the show.

The two members were quite excited to appear on the show as it meant that they’ve reached a certain status that they believed was needed for the show.

Feeling extremely excited and willing to talk, SISTAR revealed that in the two years since their debut, the group hasn′t had a break.



“From our rookie years when we were busily releasing and album and gaining popularity to now, two years later, we’ve never had a vacation,” Bora said. “Our company promised to give us a break, but all of the sudden, we had a summer album. I hoped that after Loving U, we would get a break, but then because it’s the event season, we have to perform.”

Bora then turned to the camera and sent a video message to her company CEO. “Please give us at least three-four days of vacation.”

Dasom, sitting next to her, added, “If you say it like that, he’ll only give us three days. Please give us a week!”

Also present on the show was former Sechs Kies member, Eun Ji Won and 2PM’s Wooyoung.

Eun Ji Won shared that in the 90’s when he was active as an idol star, his group came out with one album per year to make sure the quality was the best that it could be.

He blamed SISTAR’s busy schedules on the current music industry.

2PM′s Wooyoung consoled the girls that it’s in order to maintain their popularity and that the 2PM members whined and complained about not having vacation as well.
