Kim Hyun Joong Shoots Motorcycle Chase and Fiery Crash Scene for ‘City Conquest’

Is Kim Hyun Joong looking to establish himself as the next action star?

New preview still cuts of a major action scene for the upcoming drama City Conquest have been unveiled.

A 200 million won-costing MV Agusta motorcycle was used for the chase scene which also involved a fiery crash involving two cars.

The stunts were overseen by the same team that oversaw the special effects for the drama Iris.

The scale of the enormous explosion was said to be a nerve-wrecking one to shoot as the ensuing debris could have proven hazardous to those around.




As the drama is dramatizing the original series, security is being kept tight on the set to prevent spoilers.

City Conquest is also raising the anticipation of fans as its will be helmed by director Yang Yoon Ho, who previously directed the action-heavy Iris.

Filming for the drama is expected to take place all over the world including the U.S., China, Singapore, Myanmar, Switzerland and more.
