With the 2012 London Olympics officially started, people have been sending encouragement messages to the athletes, celebrities included.

On July 27, SBS’ 8 O’clock News were presenting SNS messages of encouragement at the bottom of screen.

To the viewers’ surprise, IU and Se7en’s messages to the athletes were shown, airing on television all throughout Korea.

Se7en wrote, “Fighting to our country’s Olympic athletes!! Se7en and YG Family is rooting for you all! ^^.”

Se7en’s message was later followed by IU’s tweet, which was directly sent to SBS’ Twitter account. IU tweeted, “Hello! It’s IU! To all of our athletes, have fun while competing and come back safely!! Fighting!”

The 2012 London Olympics began on July 28 (KST) with the opening ceremony and will have 17 days of festivities.
